Overview
Why it exists
Teams that keep LogicModules in Git live in VS Code or Cursor, but testing a script still meant copying it into the portal. The extension brings the portal and the collector to the editor.
What it does
- Run Groovy and PowerShell on a collector from the editor, with live output and validation in the Problems panel.
- Browse a portal's LogicModules, load a script, and open it in LogicMonitor.
- Push changes back to the portal after a side-by-side diff, with an optional audit reason.
- Lint scripts as you type, run collector debug commands, and replay recent runs.
Outcomes
- Published on the VS Code Marketplace, and on Open VSX for Cursor.
- Credentials stay out of settings files: a bearer token per portal.
How it's built
A VS Code extension (works in Cursor), published to the VS Code Marketplace and Open VSX, with docs at its own site.
